    Hi everybody I need some help please.

    About two months ago I purchased a new Epson L120 sublimation printer. Today when I tried doing the prints for my sublimation socks I noticed some odd white lines on my printouts.

    What should I do?

    Hi @dewald,

    Thank you for your message, we appreciate your excitement for the sublimation industry! It is unfortunate to read about the white horizontal lines appearing on your prints.

    Luckily, this seems to be a common issue on printers that have been standing still for a while, and not doing what they do best – and that’s printing. You have to remember that sublimation printers need to be used very frequently, almost on a daily basis.

    A quick fix would be to run a head clean, by making use of the printer utility, found under the maintenance tab.

    Let me know if this fixed the issue. 🙂

    Hi Dewald!

    I agree with Gerrit. One thing to add though would be to print a nozzle check and see if there are white or missing lines in it. Those could indicate blocked nozzles, meaning you will have to do a head clean by making use of the maintenance utility.

    Oh, and always make sure that you print at slower speeds! That also helps!

    Thank you everybody!

    @Gerrit
    your advice worked perfectly. I had to do the head clean twice, and after that the white lines disappeared completely.

    Thanks Again. 😉
