Professional Sublimation Oven 40L: 40 Litre Sublimation Oven with Heat Resistant Glove and Dual Racks
Press curved and 3D sublimation blanks with our 40L professional sublimation oven blue heat press. This 40-litre sublimation oven handles mugs, phone cases, bottles, and other curved or irregularly shaped sublimation blanks that a flat heat press cannot accommodate. The oven includes a heat resistant glove for safe handling of pressed items and two internal racks for pressing multiple items simultaneously. The temperature display switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit to suit your working preference. The blue exterior is durable and easy to identify in a busy workshop environment. Sold individually. Why a Sublimation Oven Produces Better Results on 3D and Curved Blanks Than a Flat Heat Press
A flat heat press applies pressure and heat from a single direction — top to bottom. That works perfectly for flat sublimation blanks like T-shirts, mouse pads, MDF panels, and aluminium sheets. It does not work for curved, cylindrical, or irregularly shaped blanks. When a flat press contacts a curved surface like a mug or a phone case, the pressure is uneven — the centre of the curve receives full contact while the edges receive little or none. The result is an uneven transfer with ghost lines, incomplete colour bonding, and blurred edges at the contact boundaries.
A sublimation oven solves this problem by surrounding the blank with heat from all directions simultaneously. Because the heat circulates evenly throughout the oven chamber, every surface of a wrapped blank receives consistent temperature exposure regardless of its shape. The silicone wrap or vacuum sleeve holds the transfer against the blank surface, and the oven heat bonds the ink evenly across the full curved surface. The result is a clean, edge-to-edge transfer on curved blanks that a flat press cannot produce. The 40-litre capacity allows multiple items to be pressed in a single oven cycle — the two included racks allow crafters to press different items on separate levels simultaneously, which significantly increases production output per press run compared to a single-item mug press.
How to Use the Professional Sublimation Oven 40L
Wrap your sublimation transfer around the blank and secure with heat-resistant tape or a silicone vacuum sleeve. Place the wrapped blank on one of the internal racks. Set the oven to the correct temperature for the blank type — refer to your blank manufacturer’s press settings for the correct temperature and time. Use the Celsius or Fahrenheit display according to your preference. Press the required number of items simultaneously using both racks where capacity allows. Use the included heat resistant glove when removing items from the oven after the press cycle. Allow items to cool before peeling the transfer.
